English Courses in Ireland - Business
I wasn't looking forward to refreshing my Business English. I decided to dive into it, but was afraid that a boring course awaited me. Luckily, I found an alternative which included of course the drill of English theory but also a lot of natural speaking experience.
The course balanced a great holiday with the opportunity to develop language skills in an everyday English speaking. While the course itself was focused only on business English and dealt with topics related to my work, everything else was about day-to-day things, activities and became a lot of fun as well. Holiday activities and time spent immersed in the culture and society greatly improves English. An important advantage thereby is the compensation of concentrated brain-work with outdoor activities and social contacts.
The bottom line is that the course was very relevant to my needs, my future business environment interaction and also covered a wide range of my interests. Of course, I could influence the topics of the course and they have been adjusted after each class according to the learning process. I'm thankful to all people involved in the course, who were creative and willing to support me. Also the brilliant family which accommodated me was like a second home and added a big plus to the whole trip. A great time spent in Ireland, thumbs up!«

Unsere Tochter (14) und unser Sohn (12) verbrachten 2 Wochen ihrer Sommerferien in Irland.
Das Kursprogramm umfasste 3-4 Stunden täglich und war auf ihren individuellen Kenntnisstand maßgeschneidert. Der Unterricht fand je nach Thema und Wetterlage drinnen und draußen statt. Praktische Aufgaben wie der Besuch einer Buchhandlung oder des örtlichen Fremdenverkehrsbüros sorgten für praktische Spracherfahrungen. Besonders gefallen haben Ihnen die Wanderungen und Radfahrten im umliegenden Naturschutzgebiet (Schlossbesichtigung inklusive).
Die Unterbringung in einer netten Familie sorgte für die tägliche Anwendung des Gelernten und rundete die Sprachreise mit Wochenendausflügen ans Meer und in das wunderschöne Umland ab.
Das Ergebnis war ein anhaltender Motivationsschub im Englischunterricht, sehr gute Testergebnisse in der Schule und deutlich mehr Mut zum freien Sprechen.
Unsere Erwartungen wurden nicht nur erfüllt sondern weit übertroffen!

Our son Lorenz spent two weeks in Ireland from which he came back able to speak English almost fluently.
The course was effectively run, with a focus on participation in everyday experiences.
He had 4 hours of English training in the mornings and a chance to implement his knowledge in the afternoon.
The tours involved a lot of history/culture/cycling/nature events.
He was placed in a family with similarly aged children, and spent a lot of time participating in family events.
All in all he had a very good experience and we were very satisfied with the result. Our expectations were in fact exceeded.

Our daughter Lola spent 2 weeks in Ireland. She was welcomed very warmheartedly by an Irish family with two children. The whole family were very communicative. On weekends Lola was invited to several trips Since Lola is back from Ireland she speaks English very fluently and she is not afraid to discuss topics or tell stories within groups.
Another advantage besides people and landside was the small classroom atmosphere with interesting courses which didn’t bored the children.
After her return Lola entered the 11th class. During her vacation in Ireland she gained good English knowledge in order to prepare for her diploma in two years.

Fergus Kelleher came to work as a temporary teacher for the Technical Institute College of Dhahran, Saudia Arabia from December 2014 to March 2015. He had a very challenging 15 weeks as covering for absent teachers meant he often had to teach different skills and different levels sometimes on the same day to challenging learners. He worked hard and successfully in the classroom.
